Occupancy Terms
- The client’s booking is confirmed upon payment of a $800 booking / holding deposit.
- The client making the booking must be 18 years or over and agree to take full responsibility for the rental and occupation of the property.
- The booking deposit converts to a security deposit for the duration of the stay and is refunded in part or whole at the end of the stay.
- We may also ask for credit card details as further security.
- The tariff is due at least fortnightly in advance, commencing on the day before arrival date. Payment via EFT is highly desirable and details will be supplied as necessary.
- In addition to the weekly tariff, a one-off cleaning fee of $400 will be charged at the end of your stay.
Booking Changes or Cancellation
- In the event that you cancel your booking before arrival day, any deposit paid is non-refundable, unless the premises are rebooked for a similar period and tariff. This may be very difficult if the cancellation is within 14 days of your stay.
- If it becomes necessary to bring forward your departure date for any reason, we require at least 28 days notice. Any deposit paid is non-refundable, unless the premises are rebooked for a similar period and tariff.
- Furthermore, an early departure may retrospectively affect your weekly tariff, so please check with us if you are in doubt. For example, if you book for 6 months you will be quoted a 6 month tariff. If you then stay for only 2 months, a different and higher tariff applies and will be charged retrospectively.
During your stay
- Check-in time is 2 pm or after.
- Keys will be made available at the property. Please let us know your estimated arrival time so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
- All bed and bathroom linen is provided but you are responsible for changing and washing of this linen on a regular basis.
- The tariff includes a fortnightly service of the house, including:
- All floors swept and mopped
- Living area and bedrooms dusted
- Kitchen, batroom, laundry and WC cleaned thoroughly.
- Unless agreed in advance with the operator and stated on your deposit receipt, pets are not allowed at Mango Beach House.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the house under any circumstances.
Vacating Conditions
- Check-out time is 10 am or before.
- Your house is to be left in a clean and tidy state
- In the event of excessive cleaning requirements (> 8 hours) at the end of your stay, an extra cleaning fee will be charged at a rate of $50 per hour
- All damages are to be reported to us and we reserve the right to charge for any damages that occurred as a result of gross negligence or wilfull destruction of property
- Linen that is damaged or soiled beyond redemption will be replaced and you will be charged for the full cost of replacement.
